Dear Steve Jobs,
Black keyboards on silver backgrounds are ugly. They were ugly in 1988, and they’re ugly in 2008. Whatever happened to that nice color we always used to see, white? White said simple. White said pure genius. In a world of black plastic, white told people, “I’m using a Mac, and that means I’m a little bit better.” Silver makes a lovely stand-in when white isn’t available or as a nice accent, but black? Black? Black is for PCs, and we know you’re better than that.
Please stop putting beautiful machines in ugly outfits.
A proud owner of a white iMac, a white iBook, a white iPod, a silver iPod shuffle, and a lovely silver iPhone
